OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — Oil City police have arrested a 25-year-old man for Possession With Intent to Deliver.
While in the process of executing a felony arrest warrant for Possession with Intent to Deliver controlled substances on March 20, officers of the Oil City Police Dept., working under the auspice of the Pa. Attorney General’s Drug Task Force, made contact with another male, Joseph J. Dancear, 25, of North Braddock Pa.
Dancear was allegedly found to be in possession of heroin.
Police say Dancear possessed enough heroin to be charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver.
He was subsequently taken into custody and arraigned before District Judge Dinberg.
Dancear’s bail was at $25,000.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Wednesday, March 26, at 8:30 a.m. at the Venango County Courthouse.
