CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police say around 3:50 a.m. on February 19, a one-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 257, 33 feet North of Meadow Road, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.
According to police, 44-year-old Linn Campbell, of Franklin, was traveling north on SR 257 and lost control of his 2005 Toyota Corolla while attempting to negotiate a right turn, shortly after exiting the road’s intersection with Meadow Road.
The vehicle then veered to the right, exiting off the east side of the roadway before crashing into a snow bank.
The Corolla subsequently rolled onto its passenger side before coming to rest on State Route 257 in the northbound lane.
Campbell was using a seat belt and suffered moderate injuries.
Community Ambulance transported him to Hamot Medical Center for treatment.
He was cited for driving to fast.
Seneca VFD assisted at the scene.
