IRWIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police say around 10:45 p.m. on December 20, a one-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 208, Clintonville Road, in Irwin Township, Venango County.
According to police, 33-year-old Curtis A. Leopold, of Parker, was traveling west on SR 208, fell asleep, and lost control of his 1996 Toyota 4 Runner.
The vehicle crossed over the north fog line and exited on the north side of the roadway, then impacted a utility pole with its right front end, police say.
It came to rest in contact with the utility pole, facing approximately west.
Leopold was not using a seat belt; he was not injured.
He was charged with a traffic violation.
